NFF Crises: Dalung set to settle the leadership tussle between Giwa and Pinnick

By Ayo Ademokoya.

The lingering leadership tussle bedeviling the Nigerian Football Federation between the warring factions of Jos based business  mogul and owner of Giwa FC , Chris Giwa and the Former Delta state FA Chairman now of the  Nigerian highest football ruling body, the NFF,  Mr Amaju Pinnick would finally be put to rest as the duo has been ordered to sheath their swords pending the outcome of the meeting convened by the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung to finally settle the rift scheduled to take place on the 20th of January,2016 .

In a press release signed by the SA media to the honourable Minister, Mrs Nneka Ikem Annibeze  advised Chris Giwa not to carry out the threat of moving forcefully into the Glass house to take over the reign of NFF on the 12th of January as widely reported  as such move would greatly tarnish the image of the country.
While appealing to the two parties Barrister Dalung advised  them to refrain from acts inimical to the growth of football in the country which will definitely jeopardise the peace process embarked upon by him as he (the Minister) had comprehensively studied  submissions from both parties which culminated into the date he had fixed (January 20) to resolve the issue
It is on record that the Nigerian Football Federation has been engulfed in leadership tussle through two various election which produced two different Federation Chairman since the ouster of  Alhaji Aminu Maigari  which  took the intervention of FIFA to restore sanity by recognizing the Amaju Pinnick led group a situation which is been contested by Chris Giwa’s group.
