Jude
Anyadufu
By Ayo Ademokoya,
Sporting Director of Enyimba International FC of Aba, Mr
Jude Anyadufu has refuted the claim going round in the newspaper credited to
the erstwhile coach of Enyimba
FC,Khadiri Ikhana who was quoted that Enyimba treated him badly.
While speaking to harohkah.blogspot.com in
a telephone interview this morning, Mr Jude Anyadufu, who doubles as the Cordinator of club owners in the Nigerian professional football league said
many people did not read the content of the paper and I think it was only the
sensational headline of the story they saw which many based their judgment on.
“ I really don’t know why you people quote him out
of context, I have a copy of the newspaper right here with and if you go
through it very well, you will see that what the man said was that he was
surprised Enyimba did not renew his contract and that he is yet to recover from
the shock and therefore he is not ready to take up any coaching job for now . I
have just spoken to the man right now and there nothing like ‘bad belle’ in the
issues, remember he signed a one year contract subject to renewal and at the
end of the expiration of his contract both parties parted ways peacefully.
Khadiri Ikhana is a member of the Enyimba family who
in 2003 won us many laurels, this is a man that has been in and out of the club
winning us trophies, the club just wanted a new atmosphere and we parted ways
mutually.
Speaking about the expectation of the club this
year, Mr Anyaduhfu said that his team must get to the group stage first before talking
about winning the CAF champions league
and of course winning the NPFL and Federation
Cup is also on our minds.
Born on the 31st of December 1951 , the
most decorated coach in the Nigerian Professional league first won the League
for Kano Pillars in 2007/2008 and went ahead to win the League and the elusive
CAF Champions Cup for Enyimba and Nigeria in the year 2003. As player he was a member
of the Nigeria Green Eagle that won the African Nations Cup in 1980
