It was a tension soaked match as 10man Shooting stars defeated visiting Nasarawa United by 2 goals to 1 yesterday at the Lekan Salami's stadium Adamasingba ibadan in a reschedule week 24  match of the Globacom Premier League.

Moses James of Shooting stars got a red card from Sylvester Nduka the Centre Refree which put pressure on the entire team despite leading by a lone goal scored in the 16th minutes of play via a beautiful header by Fabiyi Tayo.

Sunday Adetunji nodded in the second goal in the 47th minutes to set the whole stadium in wild jubilation as that goal was a consolation of the missed penalty by Silvanus Ebiakwu in the 24th minutes of play.

Nasarawa United however intensified pressure on the home team by scoring through a deflected shot into the net by Thomas Zenke in the 58thminutes of play and coach Ogunbote could not hide his displeasure at 3SC Goalkeeper, Danlandi Isa for such a costly error.

Shooting will now host Abia Warriors on Sunday in the  week 26 of the Globacom premier League
