Enyimba FC  attacked by armed robbers

Tragedy was averted this afternoon when the 2014/2015 Negerian League Champion and two time CAF Champions league winner Enyimba international was attacked by dare devil armed robbers on their wayto Kaduan to keep a date with the Super Four tournament scheduled to take place at the Ahmadu Bello stadium ,Zaria on the 20th of January.2016.

The armed robbers who way laid them at Okenne Kogi state went away with valuables of both players and club official.

it is on record that Kano Pillar too were attacked at Lokoja Kogi state last January on their way to play the opening match of the Nigerian professional league.Unlike Kano Pillar that recordedso many injuries,no one was announced to be injured in the attacked as tweeted on the official page of Enyimba FC

   Thankfully, there were no injuries during this unfortunate incident. Players and officials were however stripped of all valuables.
