We are out to reposition Accord Party... Abiola Ajaja
By Ayo Ademokoya

One of the foremost Leaders of the Accord party,  Honourable Dr Bukola Ajaja, has urged Accord party faithful in the country especially in Oyo state to stay calm and be law abiding in their quest to reposition the party so as to reflect and operate in line with the party’s constitution and the constitution of a true, democratic political party of the federal Republic of Nigeria and rescue it  from impunity, nepotism, imposition and selfish interest of the privilege few who are out to destroy and destabilise the mega-party before leaving.

In a Press statement released and signed by the factional party secretary of  Accord Party in Oyo State and made available to Daily Sun, Mr Igbinsola Sunday which dealt with salient issues on the imbroglio of the National Secretary of the party, the position taken by INEC on the issue among others, The communiqués released  further revealed  that that accord Party is now undergoing restructuring which will see the party as a liberal party that believes in true democracy unlike the dictatorial manner which the party is been ran in the past

“We implore the general public to disregard any directive from the former National Secretary, Dr Nureni Adisa because he has since been relieved of his post while Mr Abdurahman Muhammed is the only Acting National Secretary of Accord party  representative of the  National Working Committee who has the right to speak on behalf of the National Secretariat of Accord in Oyo State,.

“Also, INEC can not disqualify any result of the State congress submitted to its office because all procedure of Pre and Post Congress was dully followed and observed for the conduct of the state congress under the Electoral Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We have served INEC an Expate Motion by Oyo State High over the conduct of the state Congresses Election of Accord party and soon INEC and the general Public would know real Accord Party members when the case is determined. Igbinsola concluded.
