In a determined bid to give fillip to his government anti-corruption war, the Minister of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu and others may be sacked and replaced any moment from now, a source has revealed .

In an exclusive interview, the source very close to the presidency disclosed that the ministers marked for the sack are the ones found out to ‘be corrupt and are huge embarrassment’ to the Buhari government by a specially constituted monitoring group by President Buhari early last year.

According to the source who is a top official of the Buhari kitchen cabinet, the main yardsticks for the ministers’ sack is confirmed instances of name dropping for corrupt acquisition of properties and convert deals in their ministries, department and agencies under their statutory supervision.

The source also disclosed that unknown to the ministers marked for sack that they were being monitored, most of their corrupt under-the-counter deals were submitted last month and in his characteristic thorough manner,”President Buhari has taken time to study the files and come up with the decision to do away with deadwoods and corrupt elements in his administration in order to show the entire world that he is determined and will not spear anyone found wanting among his lieutenants in his anti-corruption war”.

“The case of Shittu is particularly very pathetic because the presidency has found out that he has not only been hiding under fake religious gab to deceive the whole nation and perpetrate damning corruption right from his CPC gubernatorial days in Oyo State when he misappropriated the party’s money for personal gains, he has been the most embarrassing name-dropper to Mr. President’ since 2015, the source revealed.

The source further disclosed, “The most brazen and aggravating of all Barrister Shittu’s alleged corrupt moves is his latest official directive to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communication to issue a memo to key officials of his ministry and DGs of all the 5 Agencies under his watch that President Buhari has directed that all contracts should be henceforth set aside to take care of his political associates and select politicians who had worked for his emergence in the 2015 presidential election”.

Finally, it was gathered that when the news of Shittu’s corrupt means of accessing funds for his inordinate ambition to take over from Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State in 2019 got to the Chief of Staff to the President and the memo confirmed, he felt badly embarrassed and scandalized.

Accordingly, boiling over because he was aware that President Buhari never asked anyone or any minister to set aside any contract for any purpose for him, the Chief of Staff was said to have taken the report to Mr. President, who was said to be visibly angry at Shittu’s unsolicited  memo and also said to have, from day one in the office, strictly instructed trusted men in his administration to report instances of name-dropping to perpetrate any form of evil or corruption practice by any of his lieutenant to him swiftly and directly.

It was equally gather that thereafter, a decision was taken to do away with other proven corrupt elements in the Buhari administration and Shittu, who, according  to information, will be replaced by a reputable professional from Oyo State to superintend over a very vital Ministry which is at the heart of genuine national development. 

It will be recalled that a former aide of the embattled Minister of Communications, in a post that went viral a week ago, had chided Barrister Shittu of name-dropping and asked him to stop embarrassing and comparing himself to President Buhari who is internationally known and appreciated as an incorruptible leader.

In a related development, Barrister Shittu has finally paid the outstanding sundry debt of about 110,000 (One hundred and ten thousand) naira he owed Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu, his Chief Security Guard on Monday, 9th of April 2018, as a result of the pressure mounted on him by www.harohkah.blogspot.com.ng last week.

Under-fire Barrister Shittu who has been trending on the social media for the wrong reasons and journalists delight for negative stories, audaciously went on a live radio program, Fresh FM Ibadan, at the weekend to debunk various 'spurious' allegations against him which he attributed to the handiwork of his 'political enemies' because of his popularity to become the next Governor of Oyo State in 2019.

  

The trio of Bisi Oladele, Demola Babalola and Dare Adekanbi of The nation, This Day and Tribune newspapers, cross examined him on  'Crossfire' , anchor by Mayor Isaac Brown on the issues of his 'use and dump attitude' towards people especially his aides whom he seldom pays their salaries.

Barrister Shittu in his reactions confessed that it is true  'he makes promises he does not have to fulfill as there were other promises he had fulfill that many are not talking about. More so the state governors are owing their staff so it is no big deal if he is owing.

He further stressed that most of the claims made by aides lack locus standi because many of them believe that assuming the office of the Honourable Minister means easy money for them and once the easy money is not coming in they go out to soil his image.

To prove his innocence on the  corruption charges leveled against him by his aides, the Minister said he has file a suit in the court against his aide and those issue would be clarified in the court of law .

He further clarifies that he never stole a penny from government coffers but borrowed money without collateral from an Islamic bank to build his house in Abuja as well as 'Estacodes' given from his foreign trips.

He later had a running battle live with Omoyele Sowore, publisher of the popular online news Sahara Reporter whom he tagged 'inconsequential' to the ambition of the Mr President of Nigeria, a statement that did not go well with many especially the youths considering the contributions and roles of Sahara Reporter played in the 2015 general election which ushered in the government of All People's Congress.

Seven of the personal staff made up  of  drivers, security guards and a cleaners were paid two months salaries out of  their accumulated four months.

The lawyers and the secretary in his Chamber were paid 2 months out of the accumulated four months salary and laid them off. He however allow them the use of his chamber for the next six months and was not clear whether this is Lieu of the outstanding salaries. Before now,other lawyers left because of the ministers strange  behaviour and lack of support for the Chamber among them is 'Barrister  Sulia' a close ally of the Minister before their relationship went awry.

One of our reliable source, who prefer anonymity said that Barrister Shittu once reported to have issue a dude cheque to the Nigerian Union of Journalists Oyo state Council during the Press week under the chairmanship of Mr Gbenga Opadotun few years ago which  till date he has refuse to redress or address the situation by fulfilling the pledges he made to the unions.

The Honourable Minister for Communications also was said to have nearly got a journalist (Name with held) working with Crown FM radio, Ife arrested for presenting a dude cheque of  25,000 (Twenty Five thousand) naira issued to him by the Honourable minister at the counter.

' I think the guy did not suspect any foul play from Barrister Shittu after presenting the cheque at the counter and was asked by the cashier to step aside. While waiting for his 25,000 naira largesse from the minister to be paid, he was held by the DSS and  securities at the bank for forging Honourable Minister's cheque .

'The Ife, Osun State  based journalist, found it difficult to believe that a serving minister under President Muhammed Buhari, a barrister at law could issue a dude cheque to him for a paltry sum of 25,000 naira!.

Fortunately for him, the so called front runner to the number one seat in Oyo state responded to his call and was released after convincing the Bank Management that the cheque was not stolen but issued by him'

There are strong indications that the Six lawyers working at  Crescent Chambers owned by  the Honourable Minister for Communication  of the Federal Republic  of Nigeria, Barrister Abduraheem Adebayo Shittu may resign enmasse from their post of duties over issues bordering of payment of their salaries

According to reports reaching www.harohkah.blogspot.com.ng this morning, the mass resignation may include the head of Chamber Barrister Teslim Adigun and the company’s secretary, Mrs Lola Babalola ( A deeper Life church member  who  apart from the erstwhile  SA Media, Victor Oluwadamilare are the only Christian ever employed by Barrister Shittu)  because these erudite lawyers has not received their wages since the beginning of year 2018 probably because of the governorship ambition of the revered South West Coordinator of Buhari’s 2019 presidential campaign.

Furthermore, www.harohkah.blogspot.com.ng was able to discover that the Shaki born Honourable Minister showed no remorse over the predicament of his employees while addressing the issues in one of their meeting, as he arrogantly told them that he may try and source for funds to offset the three months salaries owed them as soon as possible and afterwards anyone wishing to leave his organisation may do so, as he doesn’t care whose ox is gored.

A source working at the chamber but prefer anonymity revealed that it is most painful to discover that their boss who only rented who came to Number 32,Kabiawu Street, behind Alafia Institute, Mokola Ibadan as a tenant to establish Crescent Chambers  is now the proud owner and the landlord of same building at the detriment  the welfare of his  hardworking staff who toiled day and night day and night for the man whose desperate ambition is to become the number one citizen of the state and spends millions on frivolities of acquiring a chieftaincy title.

In a related development, The Chief security officer popularly called ‘Maigaid’ saddle with the protection of Samonda Home of the Minister for about 8 years Malam Ibrahim   Aliyu has threatened to retrieve his outstanding sundry debts of about 110,000 naira owed him by his boss.

In a telephone chat with Malam Ibrahim this morning, Mallam Ibrahim who spoke in English tainted with his heavy Hausa accent said

‘ I joined Oga in 2010 and I decided to disengage  with him last week Thursday over  issues of unpaid 30,000 naira per month salary which he has been owing me since the beginning of the year.

‘He told me he will offset 3months salary arrears and I reminded him of cumulative 110,000  naira he borrowed from me at different times to help sustain his two wives any he says he doesn’t have money yet.

‘You see the point is when his wives called him for money he tells them to wait should wait till he comes from where ever he is and then ask them to tell me to fund them till he comes . God is my witness and the wives could bear me witness. But I was shocked when I asked about those monies from Oga when I was about to leave. He told me he has forgotten how he used to mandate me to source for funds to sustain his home till he is back!

If lawyers working at Barrister Shittu leaves enmass, it means that about 15 of his aides would have left him for the same reasons of unpaid allowances, wages and salaries.

Some of them are: Mr. Ipoola Binuyo, Abiodun Oyaremi, who until their resignations were Chief of Staff and Special Adviser on Special Duties respectively resigned about a year ago While Mr Rasaq Olubodun, Victor Oluwadamilare (SA Media), Sheik Tajudeen Abdurrahaman Al’Imam  and  Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu  the CSO who is the latest casualty of the same fate suffered while working with the Minister.

The last has not been heard about the use and dump attitude of the Communication Minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria and Governorship aspirant of Oyo state, Alhaji (Barrister) Abdu-Raheem Adebayo Shittu as report reaching www.harohkah.blogspot.com.ng revealed that the Chief Security Officer, Mallam Ibrahim resigned last week Thursday over unpaid salaries and wages.

Mallam Ibrahim who was stationed at the Samonda home of the South West Coordinator of President Buhari Campaign organisation for the forthcoming election in 2019 to guard and protect his two wives and fourteen children decided to leave his post after it was clear to him that his wages and salaries running to months would never be paid by the bearded Barrister at Law.

It was also revealed that just like the case of Mallam Ibrahim, drivers of the so called the Oyo gubernatorial aspirant under the ruling party of the All People’s Congress (APC) are still owed at four months’ salary till date while lawyers at his chambers are also not paid of their wages despite the fact that their boss has acquired so much wealth within the space of about 30 months  he was appointed by the incorruptible President Mohammed Buhari as the to oversee the activities of the Communication Ministry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Penultimate to these saga, we would recalled that the Oke- Oogun born politician was in the news for the wrong reasons of not paying salaries of two of his aide , a personal assistant Mr Rasaq Olubodun while his media Adviser Victor Oluwada,ilare also resigned for the same reasons recently. While, Sheik Tajudeen Abdurrahaman Al’Imam former Special Assistant on special duties to the Aagbaakin Fiwajoye of Ibadan land, who lost his wife to the cold hands of death at childbirth due to Shittu’s wickedness

All efforts to reach Barrister Shittu on Phone proved abortive but www.harohkah,blogspot,com.ng contact one of his former aide who prefer anonymity spoke in his defence that

‘Oga, cannot be earning Eight hundred thousand naira per month while his aides demands for outrageous Five hundred thousand naira per month. More so, Oga used to tell us that both Olubodun and Oluwadamilare were rehabilitated by him and got estacodes for all the foreign trips they went with him to’

Victor Oluwadamilare, the former Oyo State Nigerian Union of Journalists chairman could not hide his feeling in his response during a telephone interview with him yesterday afternoon

‘I was shocked when I heard this same defense of Barrister Shittu in the media and I wonder the kind of a leader he is trying to be. This was a man that laid  me off and wrote the cheque of 1.3 million naira out of the 13 million naira of the backlog of salaries of 28 months I am owed by the Ministry he oversee.

‘I can forward the appointment letter which bore the letter head of the Federal Ministry of Communication which shows that we were employed and to be paid by the Ministry and not from his pocket, I believe that  he receives our estacodes from the Ministry the way he collects our  salaries which he refused to pay.

‘It’s true the Ministry of Communications gives estacode when we go for foreign trips  is that the reason he is not paying our wages? Barrister Shittu till date has collected over 800,000 dollars as estacode while his salaries and other remunerations are still running so why has he collected our salaries and refused to pay them all.

‘If the story of our unpaid salaries shocks you, I will share the experience of one of his aides, Sheik Tajudeen Abdurrahaman Al’Imam former Special Assistant on special duties to Barrister Shittu who lost his wife to the cold hands of death at childbirth due to Shittu wickedness’ he concluded

Three days after the write up he went a step further in his shameless display of servitude by not only confirming that he was now to be addressed as the Emir of Iwo but by also declaring himself as the Emir of Yorubaland. He also said that he preferred being a Fulani Emir to a Yoruba Oba because the former spoke with one voice and were united whilst the latter were divided and were always bickering amongst themselves! In that essay I asserted that the Yoruba now have a serious identity crisis and that the spirt of Afonja has entered and possesed some of our lesders and people. Yet again I have been proved right. This is the handiwork of Bola Tinubu, Rauf Aregbesola, Muhammadu Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo and all the other Caliphate-craving and Fulani-loving Yoruba traitors who have sold their souls to the devil and mortgaged the future and heritage of the Yoruba to the Fuani. They imposed this monkey on the people of Iwo and made him Oba when the stool became vacant a couple of years back. As Jack McGunn wrote on Facebook, Akanbi is not just happy to be a slave but he is also eager to enslave his Iwo people and indeed the whole of Yorubaland, to the Fulani. He is right. This is where reckless accomodation, ignorance, cowardice, political correctness and the acceptance of Fulani cultural and religious imperialism has brought us as a people. It is also indicative of the fact that some of our people have already been subdued, supressed and conquered without a shot being fired. What a tragedy and sadly, from what I am told, there are more to come. Iwo is just a test run. Adeyinka Grandson, the leader of the Young Yoruba for Freedom (YYF) and one of the most committed, couraheous and knowledgeable Yoruba nationalists that our country has ever known, analysed the situation very well when he wrote the following: "Mr Akanbi, the Alatenuje of Iwo, told members of the Young Yoruba for Freedom (YYF), that the place of the Emir of Iwo is in line with the promises from the Fulani that if he converted the Oluwo stool to the Emirate, he shall be provided with the State support to undermine the Ooni of Ife and the Alaafin of Oyo. He was also promised an oil bloc. Mr Akanbi explained to the Council of Chiefs in Iwoland that he demanded the oil bloc to raise money to develop Iwoland. But his explanation among others, were ruled out by Chief Ogundokun in May 2017. Mr. Akanbi then removed Chief Abiola Ogundokun as the Obanla of Iwoland. This has since been reported to Governor Aregbesola of the State of Osun, who produced an internet fraudster as the Oba of Iwo. Mr Akanbi is actually a wanted man in Canada for allegations bothering on internet fraud. The Secretary to the Government of the State of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti and the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Najeem Folasayo Salaam, are the two people who imposed Mr. Akanbi on Governor Aregbesola against other candidates for the position of Olu Iwo of Iwo. Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti and Alhaji Najeem Folasayo Salaam, have been promised oil bloc and the governorship of the State of Osun respectively by the Fulani. Akanbi, Adeoti and Salaam are all working for the Fulani in return for oil blocs. Young Yoruba in Iwo and its environ must take them out of circulation for God and the Yoruba Country....If a Fulani Emir drops his title to become an Oba, Fulani youth will not only dethrone him, they will kill him". I deplore violence and I refuse to encourage or endorse it but Adeyinka is absolutely right. It is so sad that it has come to this. I pray that when Nigeria eventually explodes we do not also have a civil war in Yorubaland on top of the ethnic and religious conflagration that will tear apart and burn the rest of our nation to ashes. The Emir of Iwo should be rejected by his own people and deposed by the state government. They should drag him out of his palace, strip him naked, shave off his hair and beard and send him out of Iwo, and indeed Yorubaland, for ten years of exile.
