I hope to go back to school soon…Stephen Odey
By Ayo Ademokoya

New kid in the block and MFM FC goleador, Stephen Odey has said that he would not allow the fame he currently enjoyed from playing football to get into his head to the extent of him abandoning his dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer later in Life.
The 18 year old boy who was discovered by the technical crew of Mountain and fire FC led by coach Ilechukwu at the finals of the Lagos State Principal’s Cup in 2012/2013 edition said he is grateful to God and the coach for giving him the platform to exhibit his God given talents.
“I want to thank MFM for this great opportunity as I did not really know I will be a huge success like this so soon.I knew I had the talent as I was the captain of my school’s football team, Dairy Farm Secondary school, Agege. I was spotted by the coach and invited to join MFM during their campaign for the Premier League ticket last season and I was glad I contributed my quota.
“Now I have four goals to my credit in the top flight and I’m enjoying my game but that does not mean I won’t go back to school to combine education with football.
Odey was the saviour last night when he latched the ball into the net from a sublime pass from Onuwa Chukwu in the 34th minutes of play in the week 12 Nigerian Professional football league against Wikki Tourist of Bauchi.
He was also the hero of the match between Enugu Rangers securing a point for the Olukoya boys when he scored in the 68th minutes of play  to end the game in a score draw.

“We have an unfinished business in Tunisia”.. Abu Azeez..
By Ayo Ademokoya…
Enyimba International of Aba midfield maestro, Abu Azeez has fired up a warning to their Tunisian counterpart, Etoil du Sahel that the People’s Elephant is out to finish the task it started in Aba a fortnight ago when they walloped their visitors by 3-0 in the first leg of the CAF Champions league courtesy of a hat-trick by Mfom Udoh who is currently the highest goal scorer in the competition with  7 goals.
Skillful Abu spoke with www.harohkah.blospot.com.ng  yesterday night during the team’s training at the Agege Township stadium while transiting to Tunisia via Lagos.
“As you can see we are all in high spirit to make Nigeria proud in Tunisia and I believe we will finish up the job over there”
On the issue of hostilities often experienced by the Nigerians from the fans and football fanatics especially in the Northern parts of Africa, Abu said
“ Enyimba International is not new to the antics from North Africans, we are two time Champions of the competition and we are psychologically and physically prepared for any assault or antics from our opponents and I believe by the grace of God we will overcome”

Oyo Assembly denies 3SC rifts
By Ayo Ademokoya

Chairman committee on Youth and sports of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Honourable Fatai Adesina has revealed that the house is not  out to victimize anybody but to put perform its oversight functions for the smooth development sports especially football  in the state.
Speaking to  www.harohkah.blogspot.com.ng in a telephone interview recently on the issue of the internal wrangling between the House of Assembly and the management of shooting stars, the accord party chieftain debunked such insinuations saying that it is the duty of the government to review the activities of the management of shooting stars for the sake of checks and balances.

“I am glad the Sina Inaolaji led Supporters club of Shooting Stars summoned  a meeting where these issues were raised and dealt. We we were able to addressed the supporters and even the managemnent of the club and Im glad everyone  reasoned with us. The point is the  state  can not be  comfortable with the situation whereby we can not  account for the destinations of our players ,where they went, how they got there and what is accrued to the club.

“We noticed the worrisome situation where 3SC suddenly became  a platform for every Dick Tom and harry who comes in  for a loan deal without proper documentation which allow them to move to another club for free, where as  the reverse is the case whenever we need any player on loan here. nothing is accrued to us at the end of the day and this is one of the main reason we are asking questions. We are not interested in anybody’s job but to make sure things are done properly.

He However promise that the state would continue to support the Balogun led management of shooting stars and thanked Alhaji Sina Inaolaji for his efforts in making sure peace reign among all the stakeholders for
Shooting stars to return to the its rightful place.

By Ayo Ademokoya
That evening you walked to me and said..
Ayo today is my birthday..get into the car and let's go..
The atmosphere was serene..the whether was clement as we wined and dined into the wee hours of the night..
Not too long ..Duchess joined ..she lightened up our spirit with her smile..
Then another charming lady came in ..later a local government chairman joined us..
The night was without jealousy or any ambition..just like little boys and girls ..with no worries or burden of life..
Remi Oladoye would bear me witness..it was a simple birthday party..I think it was Wale Ojo Lanre 's 45th on earth..
And I bet it if there is anyone who knows how to capture and enjoy the moment..its Wale Ojo Lanre..he knows the value of every moment..because moments are the real memories..and in Wale's life..there are no dull moments..
Even if he happen to be in a war torn area to celebrate his birthday today..Wale would locate the beauty..the fun and happiness in their..
I enjoyed every bit of moment ever shared with you..I would have even given up this moment to share every moment of the day with you ..cos there would be no dulling...
Happy Birthday to the one who value time, people ,opportunity and friendship..
