We are out to sacrifice our comfort at Eid Mubarak and beyond …Akintola, Alliance for Democracy Gubernatorial Candidate

The Gubernatorial Candidate on the platform of Alliance for Democracy, Mr Gbenga Akintola had reiterated their commitment towards making sure that Osun state becomes a prosperous state and the food basket of the nation once again.

In a good will message to all Muslim faithful at EID  ADHA or ‘ Ileya Festival’  release and  signed by the Media and Strategy Director of the Party, Mr. Niyi Omotoso as he stated that

‘Eid Mubarak is undoubtedly the biggest for all Muslim, The almighty Allah blessed Muslims all over the world with two joys of Eid in each year. ’EID Al FITR which comes after one month of fasting  during the holy month of Ramadan and EID al~Adha which is called the Sacrifice Feast which Prophet Ibrahim used Ram as sacrifice instead of his son Ishmael.

The sacrificial spirit of Prophet Ibrahim or Abraham as Christians would call him is what we need in Osun state right now as there is so much work. What we are working towards is a situation where every Osun State Indigene would afford to kill rams every month and enough foods drinks and meat to be share eon daily basis in every household.

The situation in Osun state today is so pathetic that a Political Party counts it as an achievement for giving our children an egg a day. This is despicable and it’s a sign of a failed state if families can no longer to provide food for their households.

We have a lot to do and to correct that is why we called our campaign slogan as ‘Atunse 2018’. We need to correct this anomalies and we are ready to sacrifice our own comfort in making sure that every ‘Osunian’ is able to put food on their table not only during festive periods but every other day.

Mr Gbenga Akintola further prayed that the Almighty Allah accept the sacrifices made to him on this day and grants every Muslim faithful their hearts desires, May they find happiness today and always
